Natural Shakespeare

A phenomenal workshop which will unleash your voice and discover the magic of Shakespeare spoken from the heart on the beaches and cliffs of Deal in Kent, UK.

Whether you are a seasoned actor or a newcomer to Shakespeare

this workshop is perfect for all skill levels.

Join me for a fun but intensive experience where you will explore Shakespeare's language in totally natural surroundings. Discover Shakespeare's plays in their true environment getting to the absolute essence of his work - elemental Shakespeare.

In a small group, 6 maximum, this Friday evening to Monday lunchtime workshop tailors characters to actors working closely with the individual voice and the acting 'tool box'.

These workshops are open all regardless of experience

but you must be over 18 years and in good general health.

This will be your itinerary –

Arrive Friday afternoon/early evening and we will have dinner together and a preparatory workshop.

Saturday full day on beaches, cliffs and in forests – whatever the weather!

Sunday – as Saturday

Monday morning outdoors then de-brief, lunch and goodbyes!

£300 per person

September - Arrive Friday 12th, depart after lunch Monday 14th

October - Arrive Friday 3rd, depart after lunch Monday 6th

Accommodation is plentiful in the town of Deal and surrounding villages.Deal and Walmer are serviced by two motorways M20 via Dover and M2 via Canterbury both very stable and easy to navigate.

Deal Station is serviced from London’s Kings CrossSt Pancras and takes about 1hr 20 mins
